Google is completely revamping its search experience, and that doesn’t stop at YouTube. Like the rest of Google, YouTube’s search bar is getting infused with AI tools like “Ask YouTube,” a feature that is supposed to give users a more sophisticated search experience.
According to TechCrunch, the feature allows users to submit more detailed search queries, including requests for parenting advice videos or recommendations for game reviews before bedtime.
The focus on AI is “lighting up every part of the company,” Chief Executive Officer Sundar Pichai said on stage Tuesday at its annual developer conference in Mountain View.
