After all, adamantium’s introduction in the upcoming blockbuster is surely a signal that the MCU’s new Wolverine – and by extension, the franchise’s long-awaited X-Men reboot – is edging closer to the big screen.

His statement confirms that Brave New World will set up Adamantium as a major element in future MCU storylines, particularly concerning mutants and Wolverine. The Weapon X program, also known as Project X, is responsible for bonding Adamantium to Wolverine’s skeleton in Marvel Comics.

Director Julius Onah has confirmed that the upcoming Captain America 4 will introduce the rare metal Adamantium into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, setting the stage for Wolverine’s origin story in the future.
