Authorities say a suspect led deputies on a chase in south Sacramento with his two young children in the car – a pursuit that ended in a crash.

Deputies on Tuesday afternoon arrested a father after he led them in a vehicle pursuit along Highway 99 and into Sacramento before he crashed with cocaine, a stolen gun and his two small children in his car, sheriff’s officials said.
