The Corpus Christi Fire Department is opening its doors to prospective applicants with three in-person recruitment open houses planned before the end of the year.

With the shortage of firefighters in the Jackson Fire Department, leaders say they are looking for the next potential candidates to join the fire department and rescue squad.
