Garrettsville man killed in Michigan snowmobile crash
State police in Michigan said a 22-year-old Portage County man was killed in a high-speed snowmobile crash on Saturday, Jan. 17.
Police said the 37-year-old man was changing lanes when he lost control in slush. Two dogs from the vehicle were taken to an animal shelter.
A 22-year-old from Garrettsville, Ohio, died in a snowmobile crash in Michigan's Alger County when he failed to turn and hit a tree.
Two Michigan residents are dead as a result of a sport utility vehicle striking a tree in Lenawee County, the Michigan State Police said. The crash happened about 2 p.m. Sunday on U.S. 12 near Wisner Highway in Franklin Township.
SHINGLETON TWP, MI — A 22-year-old Garrettsville, Ohio man died after the snowmobile he was driving crashed in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula this weekend, state police said. Fatal rollover crash on I-75 closes exit ramp in Wayne County
According to sources, an officer with the Wayne County Sheriff's Office saw the crash on I-75 and called it in. An adult man was seen trapped under the vehicle.
