DENVER -- Micah Parsons is believed to have suffered a torn ACL in his left knee, a person with knowledge of the All-Pro pass rusher’s injury told The Associated Press on Sunday. The person spoke on condition of anonymity because the severity of the injury hadn't been confirmed by tests.

The Packers have worked eight months to be in position to compete for a championship. Micah Parsons, Tucker Kraft, Elgton Jenkins, and Devonte Wyatt all did their part to help Green Bay get to this point. Those left standing must keep perspective and finish strong for them.

Micah Parsons is officially out for the season. Tests on Monday confirmed the fear from Sunday, and the star edge defender tore his ACL. It's at least a nine-month recovery, so beyond this season, the Green Bay Packers may be without their best defensive player to start next regular season as well.
