NEW YORK (WABC) -- New York City Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani has revealed new details about both his private and public swearing-in ceremonies that will take place on New Year's Day. Mamdani says two of his political inspirations will deliver the oaths at the ceremonies: Attorney General Letitia James and Sen. Bernie Sanders.
The ceremony is open to the public and will be broadcast live on Northern Community Television, channel 1303, and livestreamed on the city's Youtube channel.
An Inaugural Ceremony to swear in Mayor Michael A. McCabe and newly elected and re-elected City Councilors, Athenaeum Trustee, Municipal Light Commissioners and School Committee members will take place on Jan.
The City of Framingham will hold its 2026 Inauguration Ceremony at 10 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 1, at Nevins Hall, according to a community announcement.
