Waco relocated the visitor center from its previous location near Interstate 35 as part of the city's strategy to capitalize on urban growth.
A second restaurant has closed this year at 725 Austin Ave., with Garrett’s Casual Fine Dining serving its last meal Saturday after opening in May to serve upscale meals in a casual setting.
Dichotomy Coffee & Spirits at the end of the month will close the bar portion of its business that opened in November 2013 at 508 Austin Ave. downtown.
