Indianapolis Colts free-agent offensive tackle Will Fries will not be returning and is instead signing with the Minnesota Vikings, according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Fries is joining the Vikings on a five-year, $88 million deal.

The Minnesota Vikings strengthened their defensive and offensive lines Tuesday, agreeing to deals with free agent defensive tackle Jonathan Allen and guard Will Fries. The Vikings announced Allen's deal Tuesday morning but did not disclose terms.

Guard Will Fries has also agreed to terms with the Vikings on a five-year deal, a source told PFT on Tuesday. Fries’ deal is worth $88 million with $44 million guaranteed and $34 million fully guaranteed.

The Colts were picking at 18th overall and did not have the opportunity to sign their own in-house free agent, Will Fries, who was the seventh pick by the Minnesota Vikings. However, Benjamin still had the Colts addressing the offensive line by picking the top available free-agent center, Atlanta's Drew Dalman.

The Colts entered free agency with about $40.3 million in cap space and plenty of needs to address — and boy did they address them. Colts GM Chris Ballard isn’t known for making splashes on Day 1 of free agency,
