Police evacuated Vienna's main train station on Monday over an unspecified threat, halting rail traffic before giving the all clear around 90 minutes later, but national rail company OBB warned continued delays and cancellations were expected.

"A large police operation is underway at Vienna's main station. After an incoming threat, the station is being evacuated," police said on X, urging the public to avoid any unnecessary trips to the station, a major rail hub.
