On SmackDown, the Queen of the Ring winner clashed backstage with WWE Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton. They were interrupted by Nia Jax, who, like Cargill, is eyeing a shot at Stratton’s title. The champ said she had no problem dealing with Jax first before turning her attention to Cargill, whom she had already defeated at SummerSlam.

Bliss and Charlotte Flair became the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions at SummerSlam. They had a celebration last week, but it was interrupted by Chelsea Green and her Secret Hervice (Alba Fyre & Niven), which led to a singles match where Charlotte defeated Green.

While Cena vs. Paul is set in stone, WWE heavily indicated that McIntyre will soon challenge undisputed WWE champion Cody Rhodes. SmackDown went off the air with McIntyre leaving Rhodes unconscious after clutching onto the champ's title.

Xavier Woods is looking for any and all help he can get ahead of his match against Penta next week. In a recent video posted on social media, Woods shared himself approaching WWE producer and former wrestler Petey Williams.

On SmackDown, Alexa Bliss took on Piper Niven in singles action in a match that was full of ringside shenanigans involving Chelsea Green, Alba Fyre, and Charlotte Flair. Bliss scored the victory, and a brawl broke out after the bell.

Sami Zayn made a surprise appearance on tonight’s episode of WWE SmackDown, and had a surprise message. During Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Zayn confronted Solo Sikoa, Tonga Loa, Talla Tonga, and JC Matteo.
