Deion Sanders is fresh off of beating bladder cancer, but the Colorado Buffaloes head coach has not skipped a beat. He's ready to get back on the field coaching his team. Of course, his son, Shedeur Sanders, has become one of the biggest storylines to watch in the NFL.

Maybe this shouldn’t be all too shocking, but the quarterback the Browns selected in the third round is ahead of the quarterback they selected in the fifth round. Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer clarified that bit of reality on X on Saturday,

Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders was more heartbroken about Shedeur's slide to the NFL draft's fifth round than he was about his bladder cancer diagnosis.

Browns quarterback Shedeur Sanders did not participate in any team drills during the Aug. 2 practice due to what the team is calling 'soreness.'

Browns rookie Shedeur Sanders did not get any first-team reps until Wednesday. On Saturday, he was held out of team drills completely. The team reports that Sanders did not throw because of arm soreness.
