Scottie Scheffler won PGA Tour Player of the Year again, and now there's just one player who has won more than him: Tiger Woods.
In Nike's latest golf Christmas ad, they recognize Scottie Scheffler, who is currently the world's top player.
The PGA Tour dropped its 2025 award winners this week, and honestly? Scottie Scheffler took home his fourth straight Jack Nicklaus Award as Player of the Year, while 20-year-old Aldrich Potgieter snagged the Arnold Palmer Award as Rookie of the Year.
With golfers setting their sights on the 2026 campaign, Scheffler needs to complete one more step to achieve the career Grand Slam. In golf, a Grand Slam is accomplished by winning the sport’s four major tournaments. Scheffler already has wins in the Masters, the PGA Championship and The Open. The only one left? The U.S. Open.
Thankfully golf is in such a place these days that we are treated to a lot of alternate-style events all of the time. Black Friday brought a revitalized version of The Skins Game where Keegan Bradley emerged victorious and next week will bring with it the Optum Golf Channel Games.
