On the heels of at least 19 Texas A&M students and two graduates of the University of Texas at Austin having their student visas revoked without notification, several other Texas universities are now reporting additional students affected by such actions.

The administration has not provided a reason for most cases, but some students have been targeted because of their pro-Palestinian activism.

An increasing number of student deportation threats involve the revocation of visas based on relatively minor offenses like years-old misdemeanors, according to immigration attorneys, or sometimes no reason at all.
