Lafayette Dailey had been found dead in his home on North 16th Street on Dec. 5. A medical examination found that he died from multiple stab wounds.

The District Attorney's Office said Coy Thomas, the man accused of killing 93-year-old Lafayette Dailey inside his home, stole the victim's car and sold it before being arrested. Thomas was taken into custody over the weekend on murder and other charges.
