There is nothing like the start of NBA free agency, and last night's frenzy certainly lived up to the billing with big trades, big contracts and big statements. We'll start with the biggest surprise: The Nuggets traded Michael Porter Jr.

NBA free agency began on Monday evening, and one of the first reported trades will mean big changes for the Denver Nuggets.

Porter Jr. will help give the Nets some spacing and shooting to help their young ball handlers develop as Johnson exits. This is a perfect trade for the Nets after a highly questionable draft for the franchise.
