Luka Doncic is officially a member of the Los Angeles Lakers, but when will he make his debut for his new team? In late December, Doncic went down with a calf strain in what we now know to have been his final game as a member of the Dallas Mavericks.

The Los Angeles Lakers shocked the world by trading for Luka Doncic and many fans cannot wait to see his first game with the franchise.

Doncic, who had dragged an otherwise unremarkable Mavericks team through the Western Conference, became the face of their failure. Dallas coach Jason Kidd was forced to come out and defend his maligned star, even though without Doncic, the Mavericks were a faded Kyrie Irving and a bunch of role players.
