Trump says he'll “fully renovate” the entire infrastructure of the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts to make it a “crown jewel” of arts and culture in the United States.

The honorees include country music titan George Strait, glam-metal icons Kiss, English actor and comedian Michael Crawford, Rocky star Sylvester Stallone, and singer Gloria Gaynor

This is the first Kennedy Center Honors since President Trump took over as chairman of the prestigious institution and pledged to turn it in a more conservative direction
