Peeps, jellybeans or chocolate eggs? See which Easter candy comes out on top in each state, according to Google search data.

As with other holiday seasons, themed treats and memories of a lion trying out to be the Easter bunny take center stage leading up to Easter. And this year, it was late in the month, giving customers more time to stock up.

Peeps were found to be Californians’ top Easter candy choice.  The candy was also the top choice for 35 other states, including Texas, Nevada and Florida

If you were hoping for sunny skies on Easter for picnics and egg hunts, you may make backup plans. Storms are expected across much of the state.

North Texas is in for a wet and soggy weekend, which might put a damper on Easter weekend plans. On Easter Sunday, North Texas has a high chance of showers and storms during the early morning hours, bringing a flood threat as a cold front moves through.
