DETROIT -- Former Detroit Tigers right-hander Elvin Rodriguez is heading back overseas, signing a $1 million deal with the Lotte Giants in Korea. Rodriguez, 27, will be reunited with former Tigers outfielder Victor Reyes, who has blossomed into a star in Korea. Reyes recently agreed to play a third season for Lotte at $1.4 million.
Outfielder Akil Baddoo has agreed to a one-year contract with the Milwaukee Brewers. Baddoo, 27, has hit .224 with a .305 on-base percentage, 28 homers, 104 RBIs and 43 steals in 347 career games. He appeared in only seven games with Detroit last season and went 2 for 17.
