Dabo Swinney’s Clemson secured its first win of the season on Saturday, as the Tigers beat Georgia Southern 22-7. Though Clemson managed to get back into the win column, the Tigers’ underwhelming performance against Georgia Southern did little to quiet the growing questions surrounding Swinney.

In a wacky, weather-delayed game that didn’t end until almost 1 a.m., Sun Belt team Georgia Southern (1-1) played Clemson (2-0) competitively deep into the fourth quarter while the Tigers once again rode the quarterback carousel with senior Christopher Vizzina and freshman Tait Reynolds.

Freshman Tait Reynolds replaced an injured Christopher Vizzina at quarterback and threw for 178 yards and led five scoring drives as Clemson defeated Georgia Southern 22-7 on Saturday night following a two-hour lightning delay.
