SYDNEY (AP) — The Wallabies and the New Zealand All Blacks will meet in a Bledisloe Cup test to cap a rugby quadruple-header in Sydney on Oct. 17 that will kick off with Australia's women's XV against Scotland and followed by the men's and women's sevens teams each taking on two-time Olympic champions.

After a slow start, the Springboks deservedly won the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry series 3-1 against the All Blacks. Outside South Africa, though, the Boks are still not universally loved.

The All Blacks will go into the Bledisloe Cup tests against Australia next month without a couple of regular faces. Injuries on the Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry tour will keep loose forwards Ardie Savea and Luke Jacobson out for the two tests against the Wallabies.

Sir John Kirwan was left fuming after Springboks legend Victor Matfield claimed that it was the All Blacks who were trying to slow the game down at the weekend. Prior to Rugby’s Greatest Rivalry, New Zealand looked to create the narrative that they would be eager to play the game at pace and the South Africans wouldn’t.
